Dear Colin/Peter/Doris

Transfer of patient from Newcastle UK to Paris:
I can’t thank you all enough for yesterday. Everything really went so smoothly and the patient is now comfortable in ICU France. I think it was so reassuring to have such an experienced and trusted individual as Trevor to accompany them. I hope never to need to use your services again, however should the need arise, I will, without a shadow of doubt, be calling on your services. Many thanks again. Warmest possible regards,

JB

“I wanted to thank you again for all you did for my dad. Although he is still in ICU, he is doing better. He sat in the chair for 2 hours yesterday and had some amazing jello for Easter Sunday dinner. You are such a gentleman and my family and I are eternally grateful for saving my dad’s life. You will always have a special place in my heart.” CP, Indianapolis

“Morning Colin.

Just a quick thank you again for your crews assistance yesterday with what I can only describe as an incredibly fragile and very sick baby. Kevin and Nick were outstanding as always and I am very grateful for their help and indeed the help afforded by the other crews on your staff. There is a reason you are regarded as the best service in the UK and its always a pleasure.

“Just a brief note on behalf of my family to thank you and your air ambulance team for the most fantastic and professional service you provided today for my father.

It was so important to us as a family to repatriate him swiftly and safely and we were relieved to hear this afternoon that he arrived as planned.

Whilst remaining in a critical but stable condition, he’s home. That’s exactly what we wanted.

Please pass on our thanks to your team. Your assistance is greatly appreciated”

Hi Colin,

I’ve just heard from my mum that Ted is now safely at the Royal United Hospital in Bath and that the trip from start to finish went smoothly. She was very impressed by the professionalism and efficiency of the HAA staff who met them at Heathrow and kept in constant touch with the hospital to let them know they were on their way.

I just wanted to thank you and everyone at HAA for your help throughout what has been a pretty stressful time for us, and that I’m hugely grateful for your calm and clear service.

All the best,

Mary

In the early hours of 4 July, I was on a Lufthansa flight from Tampa to Frankfurt when a man appeared to go into cardiac arrest. Another passenger and I (both nurses) did CPR on the man for about 40 minutes until we landed in London (Heathrow) via a diversion, and the ground crew came aboard and took over. The passenger was worked on for another hour by the medical ground crew. I am inquiring as to whether or not we could find out if the passenger survived. It’s been on my mind since the event. Are you able to at least pass that information back to us? Unfortunately, I did not know the passenger’s name but he was a Polish gentleman living in Florida, was age 82, and we were aboard flight LH483. We also know he did have vital signs at least when he left the plane bound for the London hospital. Any information you could provide would be appreciated. Although the circumstances were not ideal for this poor man, it was a real pleasure to meet your medic team and to interact with them during this unfortunate event. I was VERY impressed with the professionalism and knowledge that they displayed. Well done!!
